Working at Alfa Laval means being part of an exciting journey and gaining insight into how the manufacturing industry works. Your daily tasks will primarily involve quality control, machine monitoring, and laser welding. Specifically, you will work with CO2 and YAG laser welding, as well as TIG welding (both automated and manual). Production takes place in advanced equipment that places high demands on you as an operator. As part of the Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS), you will naturally contribute to improvement work, 5S, and standardized working methods.

The working hours are based on a 6-shift system. This is a permanent recruitment, and you will be employed directly by Alfa Laval. Lernia handles the recruitment process only.

For the role of Machine Operator, we are primarily looking for you who are responsible, meticulous, and an engaged team player, motivated by being a key cog in a large machine and the opportunity to develop. To get started in the role as quickly as possible, experience with machines/robots, production work, or the manufacturing industry is a big plus. Additionally, experience with Six Sigma and improvement work, as well as machine operation and welding experience, is a significant advantage.

• can communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish.

• hold a driver's license for at least category AM.

• hold a forklift license type A and B.

• have experience in similar work within industrial manufacturing.

• have a technical/industrial education at least at the upper secondary level.

• at least 2–3 years of technical education or equivalent experience within the manufacturing industry.

• a crane operator license (traverskort).

• a strong interest in technology.

• previous welding experience in both manual and robotic welding.
